ON-LINE PLAN REVIEWER RE-CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

Welcome, Plan Reviewer, to the Department of Conservation and Recreation's On-Line Re-Certification Program for Plan Reviewers in the third year of their certification.

Re-certification via the internet is an alternative approach to re-certification. Instead of enrolling in conventional classroom courses in Plan Reviewer Training (or sitting for one of DCR's bi-annual statewide examinations), Plan Reviewers within the last 12 months of their current certification now may re-certify by passing an On-line exam.

On-line Plan Reviewer Re-certification is a 5-Step program:

 

Step 1:		The Plan Reviewer establishes his/her eligibility for the program and receives a Personal Identification Number (PIN) needed for STEPS 2, 3, 4, and 5.
Step 2:		The Plan Reviewer downloads testing materials required for the exam.
Step 3:		The Plan Reviewer enters the Testing Zone, makes a $90 credit card payment (Visa, MasterCard, Amex), verifies his/her personal information, then obtains a 25 Question Exam (multiple choice, open-book, no time limit, 70% or greater passing grade) that is computer-scored when completed. Successful candidates are provided a new certificate for printing. A calculator is required.
Step 4:		List of Plan Reviewers eligible for, or re-certified by, the On-line Program.
Step 5:		The Plan Reviewer, pending successful re-certification, prints updated certificate. DCR will not be mailing updated Plan Reviewer re-certification certificates.

 

Please note that your exam does not have to be completed in one session. You may resume your exam as many times as necessary. YOUR TEST, HOWEVER, NEEDS TO BE GRADED BY MIDNIGHT OF YOUR CERTIFICATION EXPIRATION DATE. Exams are created from a randomly selected database of over 1,000 questions.
